I am a McNair scholar passionate about marine ecology. I want to answer broad questions about how humans affect marine communities. How do we affect the balance between species? Are we changing the realized niches of species? How do we contribute to creating alternative stable states? As global climate change unfolds, these answers will prove essential in saving what natural systems we can.
